The board shows the opening of Marylebone Cricet Club (MCC) at the venue of Lord's cricket ground. MCC is responsible for the formulation of laws in international cricket.

    Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) is a cricket club in London founded in the same year 1787.It is based at, Lord's Cricket Ground in St John's Wood, London.
    MCC is generally understood to have been founded in 1787 when Thomas Lord opened the 'Lords Cricket Ground' he bought on the site now occupied by Dorset Square which the club adopted as its home venue.
